Liberty Bobbin Mouse Pin Cushion

This gorgeous mouse is made from 100% cotton liberty fabric in a quirky vintage style.

This mouse has been handcrafted, from 100% cotton liberty fabric, in a teal with orange flowers and a cream middle with orange leaves. They would make a fantastic original gift for a sewing enthusiast, or a special treat for yourself. They can be purely decorative, used as a pin cushion ……

Each mouse is cut out by hand and machine stitched together. It is then stuffed with polyester toy safe certified stuffing. A ric-rac tail is added and a felt circle is sewn onto the base.

The next stage is to hand sew on the felt ears, the whiskers and the tiny black beads for the eyes.

Then its decoration time ! This mouse holds a hand rolled felt flower.
The final step is to attach the mouse to a Chinaberry wood base, also known as the Persian Lilac is a very light weight wood from an ornamental tree, originating from Asia. A red felt flower and button complete the decoration on the base. Next to the mouse is a matching pin cushion and five hand decorated sewing pins.
