This gorgeous Grey Embroidered Liberty Hare Necklace features a free motion embroidered panel mounted into a coloured metal back. A stunning gift for yourself or a friend.
The handcrafted necklace features a free motion appliquéd liberty fabric hare on a grey boiled wool background, with embroidered flowers. The back is a coloured metal mount attached to a pale grey waxed cotton cord with a silver coloured clasp.
Every necklace is handmade with the highest quality materials to produce a truly stylish addition to your outfit.

Each necklace has carefully selected liberty fabric for the hare to match the wool background.
The hare is hand drawn and cut out before being free motion appliquéd onto the backing fabric and a tiny black bead is hand sewn for the eye. The next stage is to add grass and flowers to compliment the colours of the fabrics.
This scene is created using free-motion embroidery which is a specialised sewing technique very much like drawing with a sewing machine.
Finally, the finished panel is cut to size and secured into the necklace frame.
There is no front to the necklace leaving the beautiful colours and textures exposed to frame the art in the best way.
The finished necklace is approximately 16 inches long including the clasp, the pendant is 5cm x 4cm, and comes wrapped in tissue.
