Hi instapeeps. Hope you all had a lovely Easter 🐣 and managed to meet up with family and friends.

I’ve been rather quiet on here as we’ve been busy attending to the mud patch left after the extension, turning it into a usable space again. A new 11 metre retaining wall has been built by Mr BM @keith.morris.artist out of 46 sleepers 😳
I’ve replanted what we salvaged before the work started. But looking forward to a trip to the garden centre for some new plants. 🌸🌺🌻🌼
Hopefully the new patio is going down in about 4 weeks 👏👏👏
The chickens are less impressed with the new netting fence to keep them out of the new border 😂

I’ve been busy going through my remnants and scraps and have put together 8 A4 postage boxes of goodies (large letter size) in colour themes.

They contain cotton fabrics, buttons, threads, ribbons and lace in different amounts. But a great selection if you want a mix of bits and bobs to try some little projects.

They are “scrap boxes” so you won’t find any fat quarters in there 😁

Hope you’ve all had a good weekend. We’ve been blessed with dry weather so Mr BM has been digging out large chunks of garden ready for a new sleeper wall 👏

I want to ask you all about scrap packs ! I’ve been having a clear out and have so many smaller bits of fabric, ribbon etc that I’ve no use for.
.
I’ve sorted a selection for local groups but was thinking about making up some A5 boxes with assortments of bits. They won’t be as gorgeously curated as the slow stitch kits you can buy, but will be much cheaper and ideal if you want a go at little projects

Hello February. Let’s hope it’s less of a nightmare than January !!
Another two months of the #happystitchesjournal by @sarahedgarprettyfabrics This one has some lovely EPP on the second pic and the addition of a few gates naturally 😉😉. I love a bit of EPP patchwork and was probably my first dabble with patchwork back when I was in my teens.
It’s great as a project to take away with you as it packs up very small and is easy to pick up and put down.
