The mix of fabrics and threads used in my embroidered products means that they should be spot washed by hand with great care in cool water.
The Bobbin Mice should only be surface cleaned with great care and cool water.
The textile art pieces should not be washed as elements of the hand dyed process cannot be guaranteed to be water fast.
You have chosen a hand crafted product and each one will be slightly different and unique. The ready made products will be the item that you see on screen, bespoke products will be made by me but may differ slightly, although will be in exactly the style you request.
I like to think that’s what makes the products special and different and we hope you will too.

I purchase the Harris Tweeds directly from the Scottish weavers, they make
throughout the year, but colour availability varies greatly and no two weaves will be the same. This is what makes the tweed products so unique. Where possible I buy directly from British suppliers or designers.
I love to use up as many offcuts and scrap as I can so as little as possible is wasted.

Free-motion embroidery is performed using a sewing machine but is different to machine embroidery. If you imagine using the sewing machine needle like a pencil, and drawing with thread. There are no computer designed embroidery elements involved.
Have a look at one of my videos on the website to see the process in action.
My range is ever changing as I try out new ideas and take inspiration from trends and nature. Keep an eye on my website, social media and make sure you are signed up to the newsletter and you will always be the first to know about new things.
