I love a bit of EPP patchwork and was probably my first dabble with patchwork back when I was in my teens. So I decided to start on the gorgeous #happystitchesjournal by @sarahedgarprettyfabrics that I’ve been hoarding away this year. I’m not a proficient hand embroiderer/quilter , I just dabble 😂. Morning instapeeps 🙋‍♀️. Apologies for th Morning instapeeps 🙋‍♀️. Apologies for the radio silence but I’m finding things a bit tough at the moment and creativity has vanished 🤦‍♀️. So this is a throw back to the first quilt I made about 7 years ago on a Block of the Month pattern/kit 😊 don’t look at the quilting too closely!! It was done on a normal domestic machine. It’s fast approaching a year since we’ve seen our family who all live 200 miles away and five months since we’ve seen our eldest who is in north London. And whilst there may be an end in sight with vaccines, as an ex ITU nurse, I fear for the NHS ability to cope in the meantime. And I can’t understand why the lockdown is not stricter. I don’t want it to have to be, every time schools close my youngest looses all her self employed work. But the government really need to do more, or NHS staff will face the awful decisions of who to treat or not 😞. #quilting #patchwork #patchworkquilt #applique #embroidery #covidcandoone
